Since 1992, Community Affordable Housing Equity Corporation (CAHEC) has been opening "new doors" for low-income individuals and families in a number of ways:

• raising capital to finance the development of affordable multifamily rental housing under the provisions of the federal Low-Income Housing Tax Credit program.
• making available an array of supportive services known as Community Programs, which are designed to empower residents of CAHEC-sponsored developments.
• promoting homeownership through a savings-incentive plan for our residents and grants to nonprofit developers of affordable housing for sale.
