Partners Conference

In 2001, we began the tradition of hosting the CAHEC Partners Conference, an annual event that allows CAHEC to celebrate our accomplishments over the last year and to show our appreciation for our many partnerships. Over time, this event has continued to grow, and in 2018 we welcomed more than 450 investors, developers, property managers, and third-party professionals who came from 22 states plus Washington, D.C. to the event.

The CAHEC Partners Conference promises a congenial opportunity for networking and keeping informed about changes in the tax credit arena. Developers, investors, and tax credit professionals learn about current economic, legislative, and regulatory issues impacting the tax credit industry as well as investors’ perspectives on equity market trends. Property Managers are offered opportunities to strengthen their grasp of tax credit compliance. The sessions combine training with educational interactive sessions that equip participants with the tools and know-how for managing a tax credit community.

Attendees also enjoy building new relationships and catching up with friends at the reception and dinner on the first evening of the conference. Highlighting the conference agenda, the annual Partners Appreciation Luncheon is the occasion where we recognize the hard work and achievements of this year’s CAHEC Award recipients.

CAHEC believes that the cost to attend the conference should not be an impediment to one’s attendance. Because of this, CAHEC offers this educational and networking program free of charge as part of our Community Investments.

Partners Building Communities

UPDATE: After careful consideration, we have decided to cancel the 2020 CAHEC Partners Conference. Although the health of staff and partners has always been a priority for us in this decision, we also recognize that many of you are now focused on ensuring the safety and security of your employees and residents. As much as we enjoy gathering every year to celebrate our collective accomplishments, we know the best decision is to cancel the event and shift our focus to helping our partners in this time of uncertainty.

As always, a special thank you to our sponsors. We wouldn’t be able to do this event without your support year after year, and we look forward to collaborating to make next year’s event the best one yet. We will be reaching out to you individually about refund options.

Finally, we have made the decision not to host the 2021 CAHEC Partners Conference. Stay tuned for more information on an upcoming event in 2022.
