Conference Overview

The CAHEC Partners Conference promises a congenial opportunity for networking and keeping informed about changes in the tax credit arena. Developers, investors, and tax credit professionals learn about current economic, legislative, and regulatory issues impacting the tax credit industry as well as investors’ perspectives on equity market trends. Property Managers are offered opportunities to strengthen their grasp of tax credit compliance. The sessions combine training with educational interactive sessions that equip participants with the tools and know-how for managing a tax credit community.

Who is invited?

Industry professionals including investors, developers, property managers, and any other partners of CAHEC are all welcome to attend, sponsor, and/or exhibit at the Partners Conference.

How did it start?

In 2001, we began the tradition of hosting the CAHEC Partners Conference, an annual event that allows CAHEC to celebrate our accomplishments over the last year and to show our appreciation for our many partnerships. Over time, this event has continued to grow, and in 2023 we welcomed more than 451 investors, developers, property managers, and third-party professionals who came from 25 states plus Washington, D.C. to the event.

What to expect

In addition to the educational sessions offered at the conference, attendees are also able to enjoy building new relationships and catching up with friends at the reception and dinner on the first evening of the conference. Highlighting the conference agenda, the annual Partners Appreciation Luncheon is the occasion where we recognize the hard work and achievements of this year’s CAHEC Award recipients.

CAHEC believes that the cost to attend the conference should not be an impediment to one’s attendance. Because of this, CAHEC offers this educational and networking program free of charge as part of our Community Investments.
